I made this for the Secret Mutant 2012 exchange as a gift for papercutperfect. Gifts are now revealed, so I can post the signed version here as well.
I got a great story about Erik’s and Magda’s past, merging XMFC and comics, Geheimnisträger by shiromori.

Yuletart runs again this year, so to celebrate I decided to repost my old artwork that I did for that exchange — also to remind myself that I can produce art every now and then, and that it wasn’t a mistake to sign up again… I made this one, titled “Fealty” for Chen_san in 2010. (Click to get to a post with a larger picture and high resolution details.)

[image: an acrylic painting of Morpheus and Matthew mixed into one of the classic scenes of the Egyptian afterlife, i.e. the Weighing of the Heart. There’s Anubis weighing the heart against the feather of truth, Thoth keeping the records, and Ammit (the crocodile/lion/hippo mix demon) waiting to eat the unworthy hearts, and waiting soul as Ba with a bird body and human head.]
Yuletart runs again this year, so to celebrate I decided to repost my old artwork that I did for that exchange — also to remind myself that I can produce art every now and then, and that it wasn’t a mistake to sign up again… I’m still quite proud of this one, titled “Weighing of the Heart”. I made for Rasetsunyo in 2008. (Click to get to a post with a larger picture and high resolution details.)
